On September 30, the results of field research and interviews were presented at the round tabel within the framework of the project “Conservation of wild apricots and almonds in the Isfairam-Shakhimardan region of Kyrgyzstan” in the pilot plots of the Kadamjay district of the Batken region.
The field expedition took place from 9 – 22 August, 2022. The work began with an inventory of wild apricot, almond and related plants. Herbarium material with diseases was collected among the plant cover. Soil studies were carried out and soil samples were sent to the laboratory for determination of fertility elements. In work with the local population, a survey was conducted on traditional knowledge in crop production c. And also an analysis of monthly data on precipitation and temperature was carried out at 3 meteorological stations (Shakhimardan, Sarykandy, Batken).
