The Green Alliance KG took part in two international summits in the state residence in Cholpon-Ata, where board member Anara Sultangazieva moderated a panel discussion of the environmental block at the Youth Summit

 

The Green Alliance KG took part in two international summits in the state residence in Cholpon-Ata, where Board member Anara Sultangazieva moderated a panel discussion of the environmental block at the Youth Summit. A major international youth summit was held on August 12 in Issyk-Kul. Minister of Natural Resources, Ecology and Technical Supervision D. Kutmanova spoke on behalf of the President of the Kyrgyz Republic S. Japarov with words of encouragement. The summit was attended by delegates from the CIS, China, Turkey, and Hungary. As well as about 200-250 youth leaders from our republic.

 

 

Also from the Green Alliance KG, Mrs. Sultangazieva took part in the First International Women’s Summit-Conference as a speaker. As a regional expert of the international project in Central Asia “Empowering young women of Central Asia in the energy and renewable energy sector” implemented by the German-Kazakh Cooperation University, she made a presentation on the preliminary results of the survey, analysis of questionnaires, as well as policy brief.  The first large-scale summit of women workers in the energy and renewable energy sector was held from August 9 to 10 on the shore of Lake Issyk-Kul.

 

 

The summit was attended by beautiful women from Central Asia’s energy sector. The summit participants agreed that the women’s summit should become traditional, and the next meeting may be held in Uzbekistan.  On behalf of the Cabinet of Ministers, Energy Minister Doskul Bekmurzaev attended the summit. He also read out a congratulatory message from Akylbek Japarov, Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers, stating that the country’s leadership and Cabinet of Ministers fully supported the initiative of the Association of Women Energy Workers, and their readiness to provide full support and assistance in raising the profile of the energy sector and promoting women in this strategically important sector of the country’s economy.
