The program “Green Rural Hour” will be launched on the KTRK TV channel to raise awareness of the rural population about “green” technologies. This order was given by Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers Arzybek Kozhoshev to the relevant ministries.
Yesterday, on April 13, a meeting and discussion of representatives of the Ministry of Agriculture, KTRK, the agro-industrial complex and GIZ associations, the Green Alliance of Kyrgyzstan regarding the practical launch of the weekly program “Green Village Hour” took place at the office of KTRK.
It is planned that the first issue will be released in April 2022. The Ministry of Agriculture, the Green Alliance and the Association for the Development of the Agro-Industrial Complex are interested in preparing content.
In a 1-hour TV show, every week in the format of a practical exchange of experience with the audience, it is planned to show new “green” technologies and achievements in animal husbandry using the example of one farm that has successfully introduced these technologies.
“Only through such an integrated approach can the benefits of green technologies be conveyed to farmers and stimulate them to switch to agriculture using green technologies,” said Arstanbek Kadyrov, an agricultural expert, a member of the Green Alliance of Kyrgyzstan.
Recall that on February 4, 2022, at a meeting of the business community with the Cabinet of Ministers, chaired by First Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers Arzybek Kozhoshev, members of the Green Alliance of Kyrgyzstan proposed to open the program “Green Village Hour” on TV (KTRK).
