Interview within the framework of the NDC implementation plan on mitigation in the Waste sector


There is a lack of political will in Kyrgyzstan to implement the NDC plan on time. This was stated during a conversation between experts of the Green Alliance KG project and a journalist from Vecherniy Bishkek.

At the meeting, the experts discussed the difficulties and problems that the state and society face in implementing the planned goals to reduce greenhouse gas emissions into the atmosphere.

The conversation was attended by Executive Director of the Green Alliance KG Ilgiz Kambarov, consultant of the AARHUS Center and leader of the UNDP expert group in the Kyrgyz Republic Alexander Temirbekov, expert on public and municipal management Asyl Chekirov and president of the Center for the Development of Renewable Energy Sources and Energy Efficiency Tatyana Vedeneva.



This event is being implemented with the support of the UNDP project “Providing Advisory Support in the Development of the “Expanded Plan for the Implementation of the NDC and the Long-term Low-Carbon Development Strategy (LTS) until 2050”.
