Memorandum of cooperation is signed with the Union of Banks of Kyrgyzstan
On December 14, 2023, a Memorandum of Cooperation was signed between Green Alliance KG and Union of Banks of Kyrgyzstan. This important step opens up new prospects for the development of both parties and support for key initiatives.
“Our cooperation is aimed at strengthening financial services, supporting environmentally sustainable projects and encouraging innovation in financial technology. We are confident that the exchange of experience and resources will help us reach new heights in our joint efforts,” said the President of the Union of Banks of Kyrgyzstan, Anvar Abdraev.
In his turn, the Executive Director of Green Alliance KG, Ilgiz Kambarov, emphasized that banks play an important role in facilitating the adaptation of the economy to the risks caused by the climate change, as well as in managing their own financial risks, redistributing loans to the most sustainable sectors of the economy and managing the wisely handed green loans. “Sustainability is no longer an option, but a necessity for banks and financial institutions. They have a unique opportunity to make a positive difference by integrating ESG principles into their operations, aligning them with the values of stakeholders and consumers, and helping to build a more sustainable world” – concluded the director.
